Terms
The terms for using Keephouse.
Last updated 8 October 2026
Who and what
Keephouse is operated by Arami Studios LLC (“we”, “us”).
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the Keephouse app. Using the app means you accept them. How we handle your information is in the privacy policy.
We may transfer these terms, and everything in them, to a successor that takes over Keephouse, such as a company formed to run Keephouse. If that happens, you’ll hear from us first.
Eligibility
You need to be 18 or older to use Keephouse.
What Keephouse is
Keephouse keeps a record of your house, a maintenance calendar and a monthly briefing, and answers questions about your house through the Ask. It is information about your house. It isn’t an inspection, a contractor, or a professional service of any kind.
The limits of the advice
Every job Keephouse suggests sits in one of three tiers, and the tier decides how far we go.
- Green. We give the full steps.
- Amber. We tell you what it is, what it needs, an honest cost, and a straight answer about doing it yourself.
- Red. We don’t write instructions for anything involving gas, the electrical panel, the roof or the structure. Not because it’s beyond you — because a wrong step there is dangerous, and no app should be the last thing standing between you and that.
An emergency is the one place the Ask tells you what to do, and what it tells you is to get clear of the danger and call for help.
Answers from the Ask and the monthly briefing are written by an AI model, and they can be wrong. Where we’re guessing, we say so. What you do with an answer is your decision.
Keephouse doesn’t replace an inspection. For anything in the red tier, the person to call is a licensed one.
No warranty. Keephouse is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it is accurate, complete or always available, and we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for damage to your property, arising from your use of Keephouse or from acting on anything it says. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for Keephouse in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.
The subscription
Your record, your calendar and the monthly briefing are free. Photo identifications are free too, within limits shown in the app. The subscription is for the Ask.
- It’s called the Ask, and it’s $9 a month or $79 a year, in US dollars. There’s no free trial.
- Charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. It renews automatically at the current price until you cancel it in Settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period. The Ask keeps answering until then.
- Manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting your Keephouse account doesn’t cancel it.
- Apple takes the payment, and refunds are Apple’s to decide, under Apple’s terms.
Your licence to use the app is Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Keephouse to break the law, to get into anyone else’s account, to interfere with our servers, or to copy its answers out in bulk. Only send photos you have the right to share.
Ending it
You can stop any time. Delete account, on the app’s Account screen, removes your account and your record. We can suspend or close an account that’s used to abuse Keephouse or break these terms.
Changes
The date at the top says when these terms last changed. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Keephouse after that means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, in the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
